According to Brian Britten, the Detroit Tigers have picked up Jhonny Peralta's club option for the 2013 season.
Peralta hit .239 with a .305 on-base percentage and slugged .384. He had 13 Home Runs and 63 RBI.
In the postseason Peralta hit .260 with a .288 on-base percentage and slugged .460. He had 3 Home Runs and 5 RBI; Peralta will make $6 million in 2013.
