According to Brian Britten the Tigers have placed Ryan Raburn on the DL with a right thumb sprain. The move is retro active to August 1st.
Raburn has 198 ABs this season and is hitting .172 with a .225 on-base percentage and .258 slugging percentage; he also has only 1 home run.
Danny Worth has been recalled from Toledo to replace Raburn on the roster. He has 65 ABs this season and is hitting .215 with a .325 on-base percentage and .262 slugging percentage.
