Tigers & Jim Leyland Agree to a 1 Year Contract Extension


Jim Leyland will be back managing the Detroit Tigers in 2013, according to Brian Britten. The Tigers and Leyland agreed to a 1 year extension today.

Leyland managed the team to a 2nd Central Division Championship in as many years, and the team went to the World Series before being swept by the San Francisco Giants.

All of Leyland's coaches have been invited back for the 2013 season.
