Tigers & Brennan Boesch Avoid Arbitration, Agree to a 1 Year Deal
According to Jason Beck, the Tigers and Brennan Boesch have avoided arbitration and agreed to a 1 year deal. Boesch will make $2.3 million this season; it's his first year being arbitration eligible.
Boesch in 2012 hit .240 with a .286 on-base percentage and a .372 slugging percentage. He had 12 Home Runs, 54 RBI and scored 52 runs in 132 games. Boesch struggled big time in comparison to expectations for him coming into 2012 and has been the subject of trade rumors during the offseason.
