Adam Wilk Pitches Poorly in Tigers Loss

The Detroit Tigers lost to the Seattle Mariners tonight 9-1

Adam Wilk pitched poorly tonight. He went 2 innings and gave up 6 runs on 8 hits.

Hey Adam, just a note: this is the majors and the Mariners aren't a good offensive team, so this kind of performance isn't gonna work. Thad Weber then came in for relief and wasn't good either. Perhaps those two can hold hands as they take the bus back to Toledo? Collin Balester was the next guy in and didn't do anything wrong tonight, however Duane Below came in to show the Tigers do have a long reliever that is very good.

The Tigers offense is still yet to wake up. The only highlight was a solo Home Run from Brennan boesch.

Rick Porcello will look to rebound from a poor outing in his last start as he takes on Hector Noesi in the series finale.
